I think it’s about time for a quick update on my project Magatta-Ki. I am working on my project slowly but surely and trying to produce as many usable prints as I can. For this session, I selected 3 negatives from my photo session in jun 2025. Seems like I am running a whole year behind. But that does not concern me. You cannot rush the process.
My previous darkroom session was not a big success as I made a mistake and used expired developer. It was impossible to get the correct dark tones. I learned from that, and this time I have used brand-new chemistry. After a while, I had great contact prints in my hands. This evening I printed all 3 intended negatives and left darkroom a happy man.

Well, that’s it for now. Hopefully, I will have a chance to go out again and hunt for more locations with crooked trees to add to my collection. Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
